she's run away she's looking for a better day but good intentions don't make up for anything she's gone before but no one's really sure where she goes the only thing anybody knows is she'll be back tomorrow smelling like cheap alchohol her parents will forgive her her friends will take a little time and when we ask her where she went to she will quickly change the subject once in awhile she'll start to cry but when we ask her why she only lies she's gone again she tells me i'm her only friend but i'm not sure just what she means and she'll come home and it'll hurt a little more to see her tearing at the seams she says i'm her friend until the bitter end
